About the game
Mindfulness meets game play
In Tip Tac Toe, trying to memorize each move will keep you IN THE PRESENT MOMENT. When you spend more time in the present moment, you spend less time thinking about what might happen in the future or events that have already happened in the past.
Staying in the present moment has many benefits. It can help lower stress, improve your mood, and help you get along better with others. When I first got the idea of playing Tic Tac Toe by memory—and using it as a vehicle for encouraging mindfulness —it was such a cool concept I just couldn’t let it go.
